The Wilmington Blue Rocks are the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals and compete in the South Atlantic League. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, the club plays its home games at Judy Johnson Field at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, one of the premier minor league ballparks in the Mid-Atlantic. The Blue Rocks have served as an important development stop for future Major League talent since their founding in 1993 and have captured five league championships.

As the Nationals’ High-A affiliate, Wilmington is a key level in player development where many of Washington’s top prospects refine their skills before advancing to Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester. Fans can watch tomorrow’s Major League stars in an affordable, family-friendly atmosphere featuring unique promotions, the famous Mr. Celery mascot, and one of the most recognizable brands in Minor League Baseball.
