North County High School in Glen Burnie fields the Knights in Anne Arundel County and MPSSAA competition. The school was formed in 1990 from the merger of Andover and Brooklyn Park high schools, and its athletic heritage includes the histories of those communities. North County teams compete across the full county sports calendar with established programs in football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, wrestling, track and field and other sports. Notable alumni include professional basketball player Trevelin Queen; predecessor-school alumni include Olympic wrestling silver medalist and world champion Lloyd Keaser.
