Washington College women’s soccer fell to Dickinson, 4-2, on Sept. 26 in Chestertown after taking a two-goal lead within the opening 10 minutes. The loss moved Washington College to 4-4-1 overall and 0-2 in Centennial Conference play, while Dickinson stood at 6-1-2 overall and 3-0 in conference competition.
Early Lead by Washington College
Kaileigh Brady opened the scoring 1 minute, 30 seconds into the match with a shot from the right side that struck the crossbar and crossed the goal line. Brady scored again seven minutes later on a free kick, giving Washington College a 2-0 advantage within the first 10 minutes. Ashleigh Peace assisted on Brady’s first goal.
Dickinson responded with three goals before halftime to take a 3-2 lead into the break. The Red Devils added one goal in the second half to complete the 4-2 victory.
Brady Leads Shorewomen Offensive Attack
Brady finished with both Washington College goals and four shots. Olivia Allen played all 90 minutes in goal and made seven saves. Dickinson led 10-4 in shots on goal. Washington College managed three shots in the second half but could not overcome Dickinson’s lead.

Washington College women’s soccer will host DeSales on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m. in Chestertown.
