Fredericksburg Nationals Rally After Early Deficit
Stiven Martinez gave the Delmarva Shorebirds a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning with a three-run home run. The Fredericksburg Nationals answered with six runs in the bottom half and led 6-3 after the opening inning.
Esteban Mejia started for Delmarva but walked four consecutive batters to begin the game before leaving. Jack Crowder entered from the bullpen and allowed a two-RBI double to Dashyll Tejeda and a two-RBI single to Luke Dickerson.
