Washington Spirit Women’s Soccer Matchday Guide: Boston Legacy FC at Audi Field Sept. 13

The Washington Spirit will host Boston Legacy FC at Audi Field on Sunday, September 13, for a Spirit x Paws presented by Iams women’s soccer match. Gates open at 11:30 a.m., warm-ups begin at 12:18 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Fans should plan for possible traffic in the Buzzard Point area because the Washington Nationals have a game scheduled for Saturday at 1:35 p.m. ET. The Washington Spirit recommends taking the Green or Yellow Metro line to Navy Yard-Ballpark station.

Washington Spirit Matchday Schedule

Apex Arts will perform at the Spirit Stage inside Gate A at 11:30 a.m. ET. Brittany Shakir will perform the national anthem, and the MPD Honor Guard will serve as the color guard.

  • 11:30 a.m.: Gates open
  • 11:30 a.m. ET: Apex Arts performs at the Spirit Stage inside Gate A
  • 12:18 p.m.: Warm-ups begin

Spirit x Paws Activities at Audi Field

Spiritville will be located on the East Concourse and will include face painting, Brandywine Valley SPCA dog adoption, MARS Dog sweets and treats, and photo opportunities. The Mutts Gone Nuts Dog Show will perform at halftime.

The Heineken Rooftop will be closed for a private event. The Washington Spirit x Fourth Wing Dual-Sided Fan Scarf and Dragon Rider T-shirt will be available at Spiritville, Section 130, the Club Level and Section 119.

Fans who placed online orders for in-stadium pickup should use the designated line at the Spirit Shop in Spiritville and have their order confirmation number ready. Jerseys dropped off by 1 p.m. ET on September 13 are eligible for same-day customization with any Washington Spirit player’s name and number.

Entry, Transportation and Accessibility

Bags must be smaller than 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches. Backpacks, coolers and luggage are not allowed. Audi Field can be accessed from the Navy Yard-Ballpark and Waterfront Metro stations, while parking is available at the Anacostia station, one stop away on the Green Line.

The ADA shuttle will run from the west entrance to the Audi Field Club Shop on a continuous 15- to 30-minute loop. Service begins one hour before kickoff and ends one hour after the match. Two Wheel Valet will store bicycles at the southwest corner of the stadium at the intersection of 2nd and T streets.

The KultureCity Sensory Room is located on the Heineken Rooftop, and sensory bags are available at Guest Services while supplies last. Fans seeking assistance at Audi Field may text (202) 888-2375.

Postmatch Access

Only Premium ticketholders in sections F1-F12, C1-C9 and S1-S31 may access sections F1-F12 along the east sideline after the match. General ticketholders who want to move closer to the field after the match may use sections 135-138.
