The Washington Spirit announced player-centric giveaways for its final two home matches of the regular season at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. The first 5,000 fans at the Oct. 17 match against Gotham FC will receive a special edition 575-piece Tara Rudd Building Blocks Set, while the first 12,000 fans at the Nov. 1 match against Chicago Stars FC will receive a Trinity Rodman-designed hat.
October 17 Giveaway: Tara Rudd Building Blocks Set
On Oct. 17, the first 5,000 fans through the gates at Audi Field for the Washington Spirit’s match against Gotham FC will receive a special edition 575-piece Tara Rudd Building Blocks Set. This build-it-yourself item is a replica of Tara Rudd, recognized as the reigning NWSL Defender of the Year.
November 1 Giveaway: Trinity Rodman-Designed Hat
For the Nov. 1 home match against Chicago Stars FC, the first 12,000 fans will receive an exclusive hat designed by Spirit star Trinity Rodman. The hat features “ROWDY” stitched across the front in Rodman’s signature pink, cherry blossoms on the back, and a nod to the “Rowdy Audi” phrase. Twenty hats signed by Rodman will be distributed randomly among attendees. This match will also serve as Fan Appreciation Day.
September 26 Event: Angel City FC Match and “Rise Up, DC” Shirt
Before these giveaways, the Spirit will host Angel City FC on Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. as part of CVS Health Day. The first 8,000 fans will receive a cherry blossom-themed “Rise Up, DC” T-shirt in sizes YM-2AXL, with fitness and wellness activations taking place throughout the match. Fans can purchase tickets for these and other upcoming home matches as the Spirit pursue the NWSL Shield.
