Washington College Sailing Scores 288 Points Across Two Divisions
The Jesuit Open featured 10 races in both the A and B divisions on the first day, followed by four races in each division on the second day. Washington College’s A division finished with 127 points, with Soledad Fintel serving as skipper and Alex Salzberg as crew.
Fintel and Salzberg recorded their best A division finish in race three, placing fourth. The Washington College B division finished with 161 points. Imogene Nuss served as skipper for races 1-8 and 11-14, while Nora Ciak was skipper for races 9-10. Ciak served as crew for races 1-8 and 11-14, and Abby Wyman served as crew for races 9-10.
The B division group’s best finishes came in races 13 and 14, with sixth-place results in both races. The combined scores from the A and B divisions contributed to Washington College’s 288 points and 10th-place finish.

Washington College Sailing will compete next at the Hewitt Trophy Regatta in Orr’s Island, Maine, on October 10-11, continuing the team’s competitive season following their appearance at the Jesuit Open.
