Wagner wins right tackle position battle
The Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced yesterday that Rick Wagner had won the Ravens starting right tackle position battle. This comes as no surprise since Wagner started the first two preseasons games for the Ravens and the team has been high on Wagner all throughout the offseason.
Wagner was a fifth-round pick by the Ravens in the 2013 draft out of Wisconsin and he has the size and talent to be a very good starting tackle in the NFL. Jah Reid will be the Ravens third tackle coming into the season.
The Ravens have supported Wagner as being a potential starter all throughout the offseason. Many fans and commentators thought the Ravens would draft or trade for a tackle but the Ravens never did.
