Valencia proving that himself
The Baltimore Orioles have been looking for a DH all season and late in the season they finally have a DH on fire with Danny Valencia. I have always liked Valencia and thought he should have been on the team instead of Steve Pearce.
Valencia is hitting .328 right now in limited at bats and that is a .328 with power and walks. Valencia also has eight home runs in very limited at bats and has a .633 slugging percentage.
Early in the season Valencia was brought up in small chances whenever the Orioles had an injury or a spot for an extra player. Right now the Orioles simply can not remove him from the lineup and is becoming this years Nate McLouth of last year (came from being washed up to really helping late).
Valencia will probably cool down at some point but right now I would ride him until he is hot and use Michael Morse in a platoon with McLouth.
