Tillman to start ALDS game one

http://baltimoresportsandlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/tillman3.jpgThe Baltimore Orioles will have Chris Tillman start game one of the ALDS, Buck Showalter announced.  This comes as no surprise as Tillman was the Orioles opening day starter and is the ace of the staff.

Tillman had a rocky start to the season but that was due to injury.  Was Tillman got over a slight groin injury he was back to the Tillman that the Orioles have gotten to know the past few seasons.

Mental toughness is Tillman’s greatest strength,  he wants to win and wants to win badly.  For three seasons Tillman struggled to make it in the Majors but a few mechanical changes and he emerged as a top of the rotation starter.

Tillman has a 13 and five record this season with a 3.26 era.  Tillman has started 33 games this season, being a true workhorse for the Orioles.  Tillman is the Orioles ace and he leads by example, never giving in to hitters and never making an at bat easy.
