The Baltimore Ravens select SMU wide receiver James Proche with the 201 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. The Ravens have a need at wide receiver and have addressed it with two picks. The Ravens selected WR Devin Duvernay in the third round of the draft.
Proche is a touchdown machine with 39 total receiving touchdowns in his college career. Proche may not be a receiver that jumps out at you but he is a strong and smart receiver with great hands. Proche only had nine drops in his college career.
Proche is also a good route runner which will make him a good receiver in critical third and fourth down situations.
I can see Proche making the Ravens team in his rookie season and contributing on special teams while developing in the offense.
