Stevenson University Mustangs men’s golf placed third at the Battle at Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace, Maryland, while James Jean-Baptiste and Christian Trivane recorded their first career top-10 finishes. Jean-Baptiste tied for sixth at plus-9 after shooting a four-over-par 76 in the final round. Trivane tied for eighth at plus-10.
Jean-Baptiste, Trivane Reach Top 10
The Battle at Bulle Rock was hosted by Alvernia. Jean-Baptiste finished tied for sixth, and Trivane followed with a tie for eighth as Stevenson University placed two golfers among the tournament’s top 10.
Zach Miller of Moravian won the individual tournament at plus-5. Roanoke captured the team title at plus-36 with a total score of 612.
Stevenson Moves Into Third Place
Stevenson University moved into third place in the team standings with a second-round score of 313. The Mustangs improved by three strokes from their first-round score.
Leo Perez and Noah Schurman tied for 23rd at plus-18. Ryan Thomas finished one stroke behind them at plus-19.
Battle of the Beltway Next
Stevenson University is scheduled to host the Battle of the Beltway on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Oakmont Green Golf Club. The event is the Mustangs’ next listed competition following the Battle at Bulle Rock.
