Ravens sign Norman, waive Sheppard
The Baltimore Ravens have signed defensive back Marrio Norman and waived Gerrard Sheppard. Sheappard is a local product out of Towson University and a wide receiver, his chances of making the team were very slim. Norman also looks like a camp body, he played his college football at Coastal Carolina and recently played Arena Football. I see Norman as a practice squad player at best.
The Ravens do need more defensive backs as Aaron Ross was just put on injured reserve and Lardarius Webb has been out of practice with a back injury.
