Ravens report card versus the Packers: The defense and special teams
The Defensive Line: The defensive line played well this game with the exception of the first drive and the last drive. The line put pressure on Aaron Rodgers just about play. The Ravens totaled three sacks, including one from Arthur Jones. Jones had an outstanding game and has really become one of the Ravens top players. Allowing 140 rushing yards is not good. Grade B+
Linebackers: Josh Bynes missed some tackles in this game which led to some big plays but other than that he did play well. Terrell Suggs and Daryl Smith both had ten tackles and were all over the field. Grade B
Secondary: The secondary played very well against the Green Bay passing attack. Jimmy Smith had his best game of the season and came up with a big interception. Lardarius Webb was beat on a big touchdown but played great other than that play. Matt Elam was also beat on one of the plays that ended game game. Grade B
Overall: This unit dominated for most of the game against the Packers high powered offense. Grade B+
Special Teams: The Ravens continue to get good returns from Tandon Doss and Justin Tucker was perfect on field goals. They covered kicks well and had a good return from Jacoby Jones. Grade A
Coaching Staff: With seconds on the clock the Ravens decided to try to score late in the second quarter. Joe Flacco fumbled and the Packers got a field goal. That was a really bad idea and the Ravens also need to be able to score early. Grade C+
