Ravens report card: The offense 11/25/2014
The Baltimore Ravens beat the New Orleans Saints 34 to 27 on Monday Night Football. The Ravens played great as a whole and this game would not have been close if not for another round of bad officiating. Here is the report card.
Quarterback: Joe Flacco had an easy 18 for 24 with a touchdown. The receivers and running backs made the day easy for Flacco and the offensive line only allowed one sack. One of Flacco’s better road games. Flacco finished with a 120.7 qb rating. Grade A
Running backs: The Ravens sure are lucky to have picked up Justin Forsett who once again looked like a Pro Bowl running back. Forsett had another career game with 182 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Forsett averaged 8.3 yards per carry. Grade A++
Receivers: Torrey Smith lead the Ravens with five receptions for 98 yards. Steve Smith Sr. had a great game with an awesome touchdown reception and a total of three receptions. Grade B+
Offensive line: Eugene Monroe needs to step up his game but the rest of the line played well. Jeremy Zuttah has shown all season that he is a solid center. Grade B+
Overall: Putting up 34 points on the road is no easy task and the Ravens did that. The offense played great as a unit but the story is Justin Forsett. Grade A
