Ravens place Franchise Tag on Matthew Judon

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that they have placed the Franchise Tag on linebacker Matthew Judon. Judon has been one of the Ravens best defensive players the past two seasons and was set to hit free agency.

The Ravens originally drafted Judon in the fifth round of the 2016 draft.

The Ravens can either keep Judon this season with the franchise tag or they can try to trade him.

Here is the Ravens press release.
