Ravens cut Bowser in salary cap saving move

The Baltimore Ravens have released linebacker Tyrus Bowser in a move that saves them $5.5 million in cap space. Bowser missed all of last season with an offseason knee injury.

Originally, drafted in the second round of the 2017 draft Bowser re-signed with the Ravens for four years $22 million dollars. Bowser has 19.5 sacks and four interceptions in his career.

Bowser last played in 2022 in which he only played in 9 games because of an Achilles injury. The Ravens needed Salary Cap space and Bowser has not been able to stay healthy. This was an easy decisions by the Ravens to open up space. If Bowser does get healthy I could see him coming back on a small deal.

The Ravens are still making moves to create more cap room. More stories to come.
