The Baltimore Orioles have activated T.J. McFarland and optioned Brad Brach to Triple-A Norfolk. McFarland was up earlier this season for a short time, he will likely be used as a long man in the Orioles bullpen. McFarland has been starting at Norfolk all season.
Brach appeared in two games this season and game up three earned runs in 1.2 innings pitched. Brach could be used down the line but his outings were not very impressive.
