Orioles acquire J.C. Romero from Cleveland
The Baltimore Orioles have acquired pitcher J.C. Romero from the Cleveland Indians in exchange for infielder Carlos Rojas, according to Brittany Ghiroli. Romero was with the Norfolk Tides earlier this year and posted a 2.51 ERA with the Tides.
Romero has not faced well this season in the majors, giving up nine earned runs in 11 games. Romero’s ERA is a massive 10.13, he has pitched out of the bullpen and I doubt he is an option to start for the Orioles. Rumor has it another roster move may be coming. Here are the tweets confirming the trade.
