Notre Dame of Maryland University men’s soccer played Stockton to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs in Baltimore. The Gators earned their first clean sheet of the season as goalkeeper David Von Mentlen made seven saves, securing the second clean sheet of his career.
Stockton dominated with a 23-3 overall shot advantage and put seven attempts on target compared with two for Notre Dame of Maryland. Pedro Lima recorded both of the Gators’ shots on target, each coming during the final five minutes of the respective halves.
