Norris is the Orioles ace of 2014, as of now

Remember back during spring training  when the Orioles were in talks of getting Ervin Santana and Bud Norris was going to be the odd man out of the rotation?  Well the fifth starter Norris has become the Orioles most consistent starter.

Right now Norris is locked in and has only allowed run one in the past two games he has started.  Norris has had his bad games but for the most part he has got the Orioles deep into games and has been a bulldog.

The number one and two starters for the Orioles coming into the season Chris Tillman and Ubaldo Jimenez have struggled.  Tillman looks like he is dealing with an injury and Jimenez is using the slow start excuse.  Norris has stepped up and has posted a 3.73 era.

The run support has not been there for Norris as he has a six and five record.  That record should be much better.

I always liked Norris, he has a good fastball and knows the game of baseball.  Norris is a smart guy and works extremely hard.  Norris was the ace of the Houston Astros and always got the raw deal.

It is time to appreciate Norris for his hard work and talent.  Norris attacks hitters and does not give in, he has the same attitude as Tillman, which I like.
