Navy Women’s Golf Adds Three-Time Texas State Champion Jamison Louie
The Navy women’s golf program is adding another accomplished young player to a roster that already knows how to win championships.
Navy head coach Kylee Baker announced that freshman Jamison Louie has joined the Midshipmen for the 2026-27 season. The Sugar Land, Texas native arrives in Annapolis after an outstanding career at Fort Bend Christian Academy that included three consecutive state individual championships.
Louie joins a Navy program coming off three straight Patriot League championships and gives the Midshipmen another talented option as they look to continue their run atop the conference.
“We are thrilled to have Jamison joining us this fall,” Baker said in Navy’s announcement. “She had a standout junior career where she proved her ability to go low in the toughest of events.”
Baker also praised Louie’s fundamentals, competitive nature and the energy she brings to the team.
Championship Pedigree
Louie built one of the strongest résumés in Texas private-school golf during her four years at Fort Bend Christian Academy.
After finishing as the TAPPS 5A individual state runner-up as a freshman in 2023, Louie broke through to win the state championship in 2024.
She did not give the title back.
Louie repeated as the TAPPS 5A state champion in 2025 before completing the three-peat during her senior season in 2026.
At the 2026 state championships, Louie posted a two-round score of 137 to claim medalist honors by two strokes.
Her consistent dominance also earned her TAPPS 5A All-State recognition in each of her four high school seasons.
Louie was selected as the VYPE Golf Player of the Year in 2023, 2025 and 2026 and served as Fort Bend Christian’s team captain throughout all four years of her varsity career.
She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore, junior and senior.
Success Beyond High School Golf
Louie’s résumé extends well beyond Texas high school competition.
She won the 2024 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial and finished third at both the 2025 Streamsong Invitational and the 2024 AJGA Senior Showcase.
Louie also produced a strong showing at the 2025 Girls PGA High School Golf National Invitational at Pinehurst.
Competing against more than 200 golfers from around the country, Louie shot a 5-over-par 219 over 54 holes and tied for 24th overall.
She finished as the top private or parochial school golfer from Texas in the field and the second-highest finisher among all Texas competitors.
Fort Bend Christian reported when Louie signed with Navy that she had already won more than 100 golf tournaments during her junior career.
That experience should help her handle the jump to Division I competition.
More Than a Golfer
Louie also arrives at the Naval Academy with an impressive academic record.
She graduated as the valedictorian of Fort Bend Christian Academy’s Class of 2026.
Louie served as president of both the National English Honor Society and National Social Studies Honor Society while also holding leadership positions in several other academic organizations.
Her high school also reported that she served as vice president of the Computer Science National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society, secretary of the National Math Honor Society and liaison for the Science National Honor Society.
Louie’s combination of athletic achievement, academics and leadership makes her a natural fit for the demands of the Naval Academy.
Fort Bend Christian announced earlier this summer that Louie had been accepted to the Naval Academy with plans to compete in Division I golf while pursuing her studies in Annapolis.
Joining a Championship Program
Louie now enters a Navy program with significant expectations.
The Midshipmen have won three consecutive Patriot League championships and established themselves as the conference’s premier program.
That creates a competitive environment for an incoming freshman, but Louie has spent much of her career performing in high-pressure situations.
Winning three consecutive state championships requires consistency, and Louie repeatedly delivered when titles were on the line.
Baker believes that competitive mentality can translate well to Navy.
The Midshipmen will not need Louie to carry the program immediately, but adding another golfer capable of posting low rounds gives Navy greater depth as the season progresses.
Her tournament experience could also become particularly valuable when Navy reaches championship season.
Another Talented Addition in Annapolis
Navy continues to build its women’s golf program around players who combine strong academics, leadership and high-level athletic achievement.
Louie checks all three boxes.
She comes to Annapolis as a three-time state champion, four-time All-State golfer, accomplished junior tournament player and class valedictorian.
For a Navy program attempting to win a fourth consecutive Patriot League championship, Louie represents another promising piece for both the present and future.
The next challenge for Jamison Louie will be taking everything she accomplished in Texas and translating it to the Division I level.
She will get that opportunity this season in Annapolis.
