Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Golf began its 2026-27 campaign at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational in Huntington, West Virginia, at Guyan GCC. The event marks the start of a season featuring returning contributors and newcomers for the Mount.
Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Golf Brings Back Key Contributors
Mount St. Mary’s University finished fifth at last season’s Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship, led by Bryan Hernandez. Santiago Bonequi and Force Kosalutta both played all 22 rounds last season.
Bonequi averaged 73.91 and recorded a low round of 67. Kosalutta averaged 74.23, posted a low round of 68 and earned a MAAC Men’s Golfer of the Week award.
Other returning players include Jack Bagley, Shane Cole, Fisher Coleman-Sayer, Brent Glah, Tyler Kimble, Justin Mehall and Daniel Shelley. Juan Pablo Benavente, Tad Collett and Tristan Smith join the program as newcomers.
River Run Collegiate Next on Schedule
Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Golf is scheduled to compete in the River Run Collegiate on Sept. 21-22 in North Carolina. Davidson College will host the event.
