McDaniel College men’s soccer sophomore forward Nicholas Clarke earned the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor for the second time on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026. Clarke totaled seven points, scoring three goals and adding one assist in two games last week.
He previously received the award on Sept. 9. McDaniel College has earned the conference’s weekly offensive honor in each of the three weeks it has been awarded this season, with senior Charlie Olson earning his first career honor on Sept. 15.
Clarke Leads McDaniel’s Offense Through Six Games
Clarke recorded one goal and one assist in McDaniel College’s 2-0 victory over Washington College in the team’s Centennial Conference opener. Through six games, he leads McDaniel with six goals and 13 points and ranks second in the Centennial Conference in both categories.
McDaniel has garnered 11 conference player of the week selections over the past five seasons. The Green Terror remain unbeaten through six games this season, including five at home.
McDaniel Extends Unbeaten Streak in Conference Openers
The win over Washington College extended McDaniel’s unbeaten streak in Centennial Conference openers to four games, with a 3-0-1 record in those contests.
After playing five of their first six games at home, McDaniel begins a three-game road trip Wednesday with a 7 p.m. kickoff against Gwynedd Mercy College and the Griffins.
