McClain activated Bajema released
The Baltimore Ravens have officially activated linebacker Jameel McClain and have released tight end Billy Bajema. McClain injured his spinal chord last season in a game against the Washington Redskins. Some doctors told McClain that he may never play again.
McClain is listed as probable on the injury report and I expect him to play tomorrow against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens are thin at linebacker with Josh Bynes being out with a finger injury so McClain is coming back at the right time. I expect McClain to be a little rusty but he is a smart veteran player it will not take him long to get back to where he was before his injury.
McClain has started all but one game that he has been healthy for since 2010 and does a lot of dirty work for the defense.
Bajema seems to be the Ravens easiest cut as he has been released multiple times this season.
