Maryland raised soccer player signs with Tulsa
The Tulsa Revolution have signed Archbishop Spalding product Josh Danza. Danza has most recently played for the Ohio Vortex and before that he played for the Atlanta Silverbacks. Danza has also played at Towson University and Real Maryland FC which are two teams in Maryland.
The Revolution got a hard nose player who is not afraid of contact. Danza goes for the ball hard and has a very physical play that gives him an advantage.
Danza shared his thoughts on playing for the Revolution, “I’m very excited to continue my playing career for in Tulsa for the 2013-14 PASL season. Although it is the club’s inaugural season in the league, they are doing things the right way.”
The Revolution is moving to the PASL this season it is an indoor soccer league that will be playing in the Tulsa Convention Center. This is a building year for the Revolution, they have yet to set a final roster and do not have a schedule set. The Revolution is trying to build a team with local players and a few veteran talents, Danza would be one of those veteran talents even though he is still young.
Danza loves soccer and is hoping it spreads in Oklahoma. “Soccer is growing rapidly in Oklahoma, and I am looking forward to working with Coach Michael Nsien and the guys to bring top notch soccer to Tulsa,” Danza said.
