Manny Machado named American League co-Player of the Week

Baltimore Orioles rookie third baseman Manny Machado is off to a fantastic start in his Major League career. Only four games into his Major League career Machado was named the co-American League Player of the Week. Machado is sharing the honor with Red Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.

Machado hit two home runs in his second game in the majors, watch both of them here. Yesterday, Machado hit his third home run in four games. Machado has played solid defense at third base and has hit .375 since being called up.
