Lamar Jackson wins 2019 NFL MVP and FedEx Air Player of the Year
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been named the NFL 2019 MVP. Jackson was also name the FedEx Air Player of The Year. Jackson had a record breaking season leading the Ravens to a 14-2 season. The voting was unanimous for the second time in NFL history.
Jackson break Micheal Vick’s single season rushing record for most rushing yards by a quarterback. Lamar also lead the league with 36 passing touchdowns.
The Ravens offense was on fire all season in large part to Jackson. Jackson passed for 3,127 yards and 36 touchdowns. Jackson added 1,206 yards on the ground and seven rushing touchdowns.
The Ravens did not even play Jackson in the final game of the regular season.
Jackson was an All Pro and the clear and obvious favorite to win the MVP award.
