JuJu Smith-Schuster actions have no place in sports
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Mike Tomlin are known for doing things that leave a bad taste in mouths of most fans. The Steelers always have had a bad reputation from Hines Ward and his blind side helmet to helmet blocks. To Mike Tomlin nearly tripping Jacoby Jones on a kick return years ago.
Now Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is the latest Steeler to go dirty. JuJu was coming off a one-game suspension which he received for laying a blind side helmet to hemet on Bengals Vontaze Burfict, another player with a dirty reputation. Smith-Schuster mocked Burfict as he layed injured on the field.
I thought an ejection and suspension was well deserved, Smith-Schuster received the later. Football is a tough sport but never should a player celebrate hurting another player. Smith-Schuster has now done that twice. As a touchdown celebration Smith-Schuster renacted his hit on Burfect. It is basically saying he was glad he hurt him.
The NFL is trying to limit head injuries and now they have a player that is celebrating giving one to another player. Tomlin is not a high character coach and probably will not be the guy to punish Smith-Schuster.
The NFL needs to step in and do something before Smith-Schuster intentionally hurts someone else because he clearly did not learn his lesson ir take his one game suspension seriously.
