Jones and Pearce named AL co-Player of the Week
The Baltimore Orioles are on a hot streak and with a hot streak comes some recognition. Today Adam Jones and Steve Pearce were named the American League co-Players of the Week. Jones and Pearce have been hot all week as the Orioles swept the Texas Rangers and won a series against the Boston Red Sox.
Pearce has been stealing the show lately with his .326 average and 10 home runs. Pearce also has 14 doubles and has earned his spot as an Orioles regular.
Jones just made the All-Star game and is hitting .310 with 16 home runs. Jones has also been hot as of late.
