Hot topic: Adrian Peterson traded from the Saints to the Cardinals

The New Orleans Saints have traded Adrian Peterson to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional pick, per sources.

The questions now become can Adrian Peterson regain his form? Can Peterson rejuvenate the Cardinals with David Johnson out and with Chris Johnson underperforming? Time will tell if this changes the NFC landscape but one thing is for sure the Cardinals are not getting younger.

Peterson is a future Hall of Famer with 97 career rushing touchdowns and over 11,800 rushing yards.  Peterson is a power runner at this stage in his career.  Peterson has been used sparingly this season by the Saints and was not happy with the amount of carries he was receiving.
