Hood College has appointed Aaron Hoke as its new men’s volleyball head coach, giving the program its first head coach dedicated solely to the men’s team. Dr. Susan Kolb announced the appointment on Sept. 14, 2026.
Hoke arrives at Hood College after five seasons as the head coach of Wilson College’s men’s volleyball program in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He was named United East Coach of the Year in 2025.
Hoke brings Wilson College playing and coaching experience
Wilson College finished the 2026 season with a program-best 17 wins and a .654 winning percentage while seven student-athletes earned United East all-conference selections. Hoke also was credited with strong recruiting results and an emphasis on academic performance during his tenure.
“I’m looking forward to growing the men’s volleyball program at Hood. We have a lot of talent and potential to do some incredible things on and off the court and the chance to work with them and help them grow as people and players is something I’m incredibly excited about,” Hoke said.
Hoke is a 2019 Wilson College graduate and was a four-year starter for the school’s men’s volleyball program. He earned all-conference recognition as a senior and holds Wilson College records for career kills, attacks and points.
Hood College creates dedicated men’s volleyball position
Hood College’s appointment establishes dedicated full-time coaching leadership for its men’s volleyball program, alongside a full-time coach for the women’s team. The school’s men’s volleyball campaign will begin in January 2027.
“I’m looking forward to him now being a member of our team at Hood and leading our men’s volleyball program to a new level of success,” Kolb said.
