The Frostburg State University women’s volleyball team was picked to finish fourth in the Mountain East Conference North Division for the 2026 season, as announced by Frostburg State University Athletics. The Mountain East Conference revealed its preseason poll on Aug. 17, 2026.
Frostburg State finished fourth in the division last season after posting a 10-16 overall record and a 4-10 Mountain East Conference record. The Bobcats will enter the 2026 season with Chanel Davis beginning her first year as the program’s head women’s volleyball coach.
Frostburg State Women’s Volleyball Preseason Outlook
Mountain East Conference coaches conducted the preseason poll, with coaches prohibited from voting for their own teams. Frostburg State was placed fourth in the North Division poll.
The Bobcats will open the 2026 season at the Shepherd Invitational from Aug. 28-29. Their Mountain East Conference opener is scheduled for Sept. 18 against Concord.
Additionally, the schedule lists matches against Pitt-Johnstown, Walsh and Shippensburg on Sept. 4-5. These contests will precede the conference opener against Concord.
