Frederick Keys Collect 19 Hits to Win Game 1

The Frederick Keys collected 19 hits in the opener and built an early 8-0 lead. Enddy Azocar hit a solo home run, and Yasmil Bucce delivered a bases-clearing, three-RBI double in the first inning.

Leandro Arias added a grand slam to right field in the second inning, while Colin Yeaman contributed an RBI double. Jordan Sanchez recorded an RBI groundout and an RBI base hit later in the game. Bucce also added more RBI hits.

Brendan Parks struck out the side in the seventh inning during his Frederick Keys debut. Chandler Marsh struck out the final batter as Frederick completed the 12-9 victory.

Game 4 of the seven-game series is scheduled for Thursday night at 6:35 p.m. at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, Maryland. The Frederick Keys will continue the series after splitting the first two games in Wilmington.
