Washington College women s volleyball swept Bryn Mawr, 3-0, on Oct. 7, 2026, at Class of 1958 Gymnasium in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, securing the Shorewomen s first Centennial Conference win of the season after a strong team performance. Washington College won 25-22, 25-17 and 25-10 to improve to 10-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Washington College Controls Final Two Sets
Washington College hit .372 as a team, compared with .122 for Bryn Mawr. The Shorewomen closed the opening set with a 5-2 run after the teams were tied at 20, then used six consecutive points in the second set to build a 13-7 lead.
Washington College opened the third set with a 5-0 run and won nine of the final 10 points to complete the sweep. Bryn Mawr fell to 5-8 overall and 0-3 in the Centennial Conference.
Balanced Washington College Attack
Izzy Diehl and Lyndsey Wessel each recorded eight kills for Washington College. Alexis Stubbs finished with 20 assists and two aces, while Kaysie Lynch added 11 assists.
Grace Salveron contributed 10 digs and two aces, and Gianna Folke recorded four blocks. Washington College totaled four blocks and 16 aces in the three-set victory.
