Mount St. Mary’s University men’s golf team is set to compete in the 14-team Testudo Cup at PB Dye Golf Club in Ijamsville, Maryland. The event features a competitive field including Maryland, Mount St. Mary’s, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, High Point, Holy Cross, James Madison, LIU, Radford, Sacred Heart, Texas State, University of California Riverside, UMES, and Virginia Tech. This tournament will be the Mountaineers’ next competition following the River Run Collegiate.
Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Golf Enters Testudo Cup
The Mountaineers most recently competed at the River Run Collegiate, where they finished 13th with a team score of 928 (+64). Senior Force Kosalutta led Mount St. Mary’s by tying for 28th place with a score of 223 (+7), marking the team’s top individual finish at the event.
Sophomore Santiago Bonequi tied for 38th with a score of 226 (+10), while freshman Tad Collett finished 65th at 239 (+23). Sophomore Jack Bagley tied for 66th place with a score of 241 (+25), and sophomore Brent Glah finished 72nd with a 248 (+32) total score.
Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Golf Has Bucknell Invitational Next
After the Testudo Cup, Mount St. Mary’s will travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to compete in the Bucknell Invitational, scheduled for October 11-13.
