Mount St. Mary’s Women’s Rugby Coming Off La Salle Loss
La Salle defeated Mount St. Mary’s 25-17 at Echo Field in the previous match. Neely Denlinger spearheaded the second-half comeback, gaining yardage that positioned the team within reach of the try zone.
Aubree Rzepka and Anna Yerofeyev scored tries during the rally. Bella Canby opened scoring with the first try, while Shaniah Mayers converted Yerofeyev’s try for the only conversion of the game.

Following Friday’s contest against Navy at 4 p.m. on September 25 in Annapolis, Mount St. Mary’s will travel to Pennsylvania to face West Chester at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3.
