Washington College Trap & Skeet freshman Ethan Kimmins earned the Shoreman of the Week honor after outstanding performances at the Delmarva Open in Sudlersville, Md. Kimmins won two events and placed second in another, marking the first Shoreman of the Week recognition of his career. The announcement was made Sept. 21, 2026.
Kimmins Wins Two Skeet Events
Kimmins claimed the 12-Gauge Skeet title in a four-way shootoff after hitting 99 of 100 targets in the regular portion. He also earned the top spot in Class A alongside College Champion and Triple Sub Champion honors in the event.
In the 20-Gauge Skeet competition, the freshman secured first place in a shootoff after connecting on 96 of 100 targets. Additionally, he placed second in Doubles Skeet with 97 of 100 targets hit.
Delmarva Open Overview
The Delmarva Open was held Sept. 19, 2026, at 9 a.m. in Sudlersville, Md. Kimmins’ impressive results across multiple events at this competition earned him his first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
