Mount St. Mary’s women’s golf finished eighth at the Charge at Quail tournament in Emmitsburg, Maryland, with a gross team score of 1,030. Kate Watanasiripong led Mount St. Mary’s by tying for 35th with a score of 240, finishing 24 over par after rounds of 80, 82 and 78.
Mount St. Mary’s posted team-round scores of 347, 344 and 339 to finish 166 over par. The 339 was the team’s lowest score of the tournament.
Mount St. Mary’s Women’s Golf Results
Mount St. Mary’s Arianna Gonzalez finished 44th with a gross score of 254, or 38 over par, after rounds of 82, 85 and 87. Summer Stroop placed 49th with a 272 total, finishing 56 over par after rounds of 98, 91 and 83.
Savannah Doughty finished 50th with a 275 total, 59 over par, after rounds of 98, 86 and 91. Ally Legg withdrew from play for the third round.
Competing independently of Mount St. Mary’s, Anna Serrano finished 48th with a score of 270, or 54 over par. Lanta Chanthakad also competed independently and finished 52nd with a 287 total, 71 over par.
Camryn Hoff and Makenna Kamnikar joined the tournament as Mount St. Mary’s independents for third-round scoring. Kamnikar shot an 80, eight over par, while Hoff shot an 81, nine over par.
Charge at Quail Team and Individual Leaders
Seton Hall finished first in the team standings, two strokes ahead of Lehigh. Lehigh finished 10 strokes ahead of third-place Fairfield.
Seton Hall’s Marta Aguilar won the individual competition with a score of 217, finishing one over par. Watanasiripong’s 78 was her lowest round of the tournament.
