Goucher College men’s cross country opened its 2026 season Friday, Sept. 4, at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Senior Jayden Keels led the team with an 18th-place finish in 17:16.21.
Senior Jair Smith followed closely in 19th place with a time of 17:25.51. Sophomore Willie Lamb finished 25th in 19:26.13.
Sophomore Dawson Burnett-Paul placed 28th in 21:53.69. First-year Torez Purnell finished 29th with a time of 23:03.30. Junior Antoine Padonou came in 30th at 23:16.98.

Goucher College men’s cross country will return to competition Friday, Sept. 18, at the Seahawk Cross Country Classic hosted by St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
