Orioles lineup versus the Pirates game one (Lombardozzi optioned Machado activated)
The Baltimore Orioles play the Pittsburgh Pirates in a double header today and the Orioles will have some roster moves coming. Manny Machado will be activated today but will not start in the first game of the double header, Flaherty will start at third. To make room for Machado the Orioles have optioned Steve Lombardozzi. Lombardozzi has played extremely well with the Orioles this season batting .292.
Troy Patton is also likely to be activated today but it will have to wait until the first game is over. Steve Pearce is also getting his second start with the Orioles today and Jamile Weeks is starting at second base.
Here is the Orioles lineup from Brittany Ghiroli.
Os lineup G1: Weeks 4, Cruz 7, Markakis 9, Jones 8, Young DH, Clevenger 2, Hardy 6, Pearce 3, Flaherty 5, Norris SP
