Minhas will continue to oversee the Washington Spirit’s entire finance team. Her responsibilities will include supporting business decisions and long-term, sustainable growth across the organization.

“Ruba has been instrumental in building the financial foundation that powers our team’s success,” Stone said. “As we continue to grow, both on the field and as a business, she is the strategic leader we need to continue setting the standard in the NWSL.”

We are at an incredible moment of growth, and I am thankful to Michele, Kim Stone, and the many mentors who have believed in me. We stand on the shoulders of giants, and I am grateful for the trust to keep writing this story.”
