Frostburg State University Women’s Soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year, extending its recognition streak to 19 consecutive seasons. The award, announced Friday in Kansas City, Mo., honors college teams for their academic performance, recognizing Frostburg State’s achievement with a 3.77 overall team GPA.
Frostburg State Women’s Soccer Extends Academic Award Streak
The 2025-26 honor marks the 19th consecutive season that Frostburg State Women’s Soccer has earned the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award. Teams must achieve a team GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale to qualify for the award. Frostburg State University’s women’s soccer program exceeded that standard with its 3.77 mark.
The team also has four listed 2026 matchups on its upcoming schedule. Frostburg State Women’s Soccer is scheduled to face Lake Erie on Aug. 29 at 3 p.m., Davis & Elkins on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m., West Liberty on Sept. 16 at 5 p.m. and Charleston (WV) on Sept. 27 at noon.
