St. Mary’s College of Maryland Names Easley Pierson Assistant Athletic Trainer for Four Teams as Head Athletic Trainer DJ Hayes announced Pierson’s hiring, effective Aug. 5, 2026. Pierson will work with the women’s volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse and sailing teams as a member of the Seahawks sports medicine staff.

Easley Pierson Brings Athletic Training Experience
Pierson worked as an athletic training student with the Louisville Kings of the United Football League from February through May 2026 in Arlington, Texas. He previously held athletic training student positions with Lebanon Valley College football in 2024 and women’s ice hockey in 2025.
He also worked at Wyomissing Area High School and North Lebanon Secondary School in 2025. Pierson interned at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Penn State Family Medicine from May through June 2025 and served as an athletic training student at Spooky Nook Sports Complex from August through December 2024.

Former Lebanon Valley College Men’s Lacrosse Letterwinner
A Smyrna, Delaware, native, Pierson was a four-year letterwinner in men’s lacrosse at NCAA Division III Lebanon Valley College from 2021 through 2025. He appeared in 65 contests as a defender, recording 79 ground balls and 37 caused turnovers while finishing with four career points on three goals and one assist.
As a senior, Pierson earned a place on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. He also landed on the MAC Academic Honor Roll and the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll.
Pierson graduated from Lebanon Valley College in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He completed a Master of Athletic Training at Lebanon Valley College in May 2026.
