The Baltimore City Community College women’s basketball team finished second in the NJCAA Region 20 Tournament, earning the Lady Panthers their first tournament award since 2019. The team also finished second in that year’s tournament.
Promise Whitmore Earns Regional Honors
Promise Whitmore, the only sophomore on the 2025-26 squad, led the Lady Panthers in scoring, averaging 13.3 points per game. She received all-tournament team honors for her performance in the championship and was named to the NJCAA Region 20 All-Team.

The NJCAA Region 20 All-Team recognizes the top five Division I players across Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Delaware. Whitmore’s scoring leadership and tournament performance earned her this prestigious honor.
