Capitals vs. Flyers Preview: November 13, 2019
The Washington Capitals hit the road again to face a division rival. The Caps still have much to play for as they test their road dominance against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight. In the first meeting between old rivals this year, both teams are playing for promise.
The Caps may have snapped their win streak against the Arizona Coyotes on Monday, but as a shootout loss, their point streak is intact. They are 8-0-2 in their last ten, and with 30 points overall are still well in front of the Bruins. Kuznetsov and Ovechkin both have multi-point streaks they look to extend on tonight. Meanwhile, the Flyers are 10-5-2, third in the Metro Division behind Washington and the Islanders. They are playing strong with great goaltending from Carter Hart and scoring from Claude Giroux, but have much to prove tonight.
