WWE Admits to Rumors of Talks With Hulk Hogan

Over the past few months, there’s a lot of talk of Hulk Hogan returning to the WWE. At this point, there has been no confirmation by WWE or Hogan of his return.

Hogan ended up released from WWE due to his racist and controversial comments in the documents from The Gawker Lawsuit from 2015. Since then, WWE has kept its distance from Hogan, until now.

WWE admits on record that they have been in talks with Hogan according to PWInsider. Reports indicate that there is no role for Hogan but he could be an ambassador for the company again, however, WWE comments say otherwise.

β€œWe have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes, however, he is not under any contract with WWE.”

At one point, WWE addressed Hogan’s return with The Washing Post stating that

β€œAt this time, WWE remains committed to its decision.”

Speaking of Hogan’s racist comments, TMZ Sports recently caught up with Hogan at LAX. TMZ asked Hogan for his thoughts on Mark Henry saying that Hogan needs to apologize to all male and female African American performers. Henry feels Hogan should specifically address these men and women before returning to the company. Hogan said,

“I totally agree with him, not to the black wrestlers, to all the wrestlers. What I said was way out of line and I’m forever sorry for that.”

It should be noted that Hogan did apologize once before, however, if big stars like Henry feel Hogan should be specific toward the African American community within WWE, than it might not be a bad idea. If it counts for anything, Hulk Hogan recently retweeted this tweet,

@HulkHogan I think @WWE still needs a guest host for WrestleMania in New Orleans πŸ˜‰ !
