The Washington Wizards have signed SF Jeff Green to a 1 year, $2.5 million dollar deal. Green previously played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who appeared in the NBA Finals in 2018. This is a homecoming for Green, as he was born in Maryland.

Green averaged 10.8 points, along with 3.2 rebounds during the regular season, while on the other hand, he averaged 7.7 points in the NBA Playoffs this past season. Through his career, Green has averaged 10.8 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Moreover, Green was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2007 NBA Draft, using their fifth overall pick. Later, Green was traded to the SuperSonics in a transacation that sent future Hall of Famer, Ray Allen to the Celtics.

Green is listed at 6’9, along with being 235 LBS, which should help the Wizards stretch the floor at the Small Forward position that he is placed. Here’s a tweet about the signing of Jeff Green.
