Charlotte preview-After losing four straight, the Hornets have won two straight, granted it was over two subpar teams. Walker continues to be the driving force for Charlotte, as he leads the team averaging 23 points per game, including a game high 31 against Brooklyn, the 10th time this season he has scored 30 or more points, and five of those in the last 11 games. Howard could give Marcin Gortat fits on the glass, especially since Howard, who felt “wobbily” coming off of the all-star break, picked up 24 rebounds in his last game. Howard has three straight double-double, and 37 overall this season. The Hornets are 2-0 this season against Washington.

Washington preview-Winners of three straight, all of those games on the road, the Wizards play six of there next seven games at home. After last night’s win over Cleveland, the Wizards are now 8-2 without John Wall. The Wizards seem to be close, if they have not done it already, to signing guard Ramon Sessions to a 10-day contract. He was just released by the New York Knicks last month.
