Washington Spirit Host Orlando at Audi Field
Women’s soccer games across the country have seen their attendance numbers spike and this Saturday the Spirit are expecting a big record crowd of over 17,000 in their debut at Audi Field.
Three nights ago the Spirit were across the pond at the Maryland SoccerPlex and played to a scoreless draw with the Royals. The Spirit will host the Orlando Pride, a team right behind them in the standings in eighth place with seven games left. The Spirit look to avenge a 4-3 setback from their last meeting with Orlando.
The Spirit will look to keep their attack going for the second match in a row. They put up 18 shots on Wednesday but just couldn’t get one through.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and you can catch the game on both NBC Sports Washington and the Monumental Sports Network.
